First on our docket would be a visit to Art Jakarta, a premier art fair. With a diverse collection of contemporary art made in various styles and techniques, everywhere your eyes wander, you’ll never be left without fascination. It’s the ideal place to let your mind settle into a pool of thought, mindfully traversing down the depths of each painting and installation.

After the thoughtful visit, it’s time to let your ideas out into something handmade. Make wood come to life by joining the woodworking workshop at Ruangqu, where you’ll receive a mentor’s guidance to execute your ideas in the form of wood as a memento of today.

Now with a visit and activity undergone, it’s time to have a short break at Lapislapis, Sunter. Here, you may savor the best of traditional ‘kue lapis’, with a diverse set of other menus including main meals that fulfill your appetite. Moreover, it has a homey ambiance that settles you into comfort.

This comfort may soon turn back to awe however, as you lay your eyes on our next stop—the Ramlie Musofa Mosque. Known as the Indonesian Taj Mahal, this sacred building is coated in pure white paint, its sturdy pillars and domes giving a majestic touch while it showcases the beauty of Muslim’s religious culture.

Finally, as evening comes around, it’s time to visit Ancol beach, where an eye-pleasing sunset view paints the sky in shades of color, setting you into calm after a long day of exploration. Then have a hearty dinner at the many culinary selections within its coast to end the day with satisfaction.
