With an expansive culinary experience ranging from their home in Japan, as well as overseas countries, Chef Kunihiro Moroi and Takagi Kazuo unite to serve only the best selection of dishes–which blend traditional Kyoto style and a modern presentation. Experience the authenticity within an elegant dining space at Keyaki Japanese Restaurant.

A diamond forms only through years of relentless pressure. Such is why ‘diamond’ is the single word capable of describing the culinary excellence of Chef Kunihiro Moroi and Takagi Kazuo.

Within the storied city of Kyoto is where their journey began, being Chef Kunihiro’s hometown and where he had begun in pursuit of cooking, before he expanded his journey across Asia and the USA.

On the other hand, Chef Takagi had established two Michelin stars for his own restaurant specializing in Kyoto cuisine, TAKAGI. It’s these experiences which brought them to new heights in the culinary field, refining their tastes and deepening their culinary wisdom.

Now, a manifestation of their combined efforts lies in their exquisite creations at Keyaki Japanese Restaurant, where the style of ‘Kyoto’ is reflected in their every dish. Steeped in Japan’s culinary heritage, yet presented with a modern flair, each plate promises a unique gastronomic delight.

One of their signature dishes includes the Monaka Salmon Marinated. Consisting of cubed salmon uniquely confined within crisp wafer, this dish is further enhanced with hints of black fish roe and cut avocados, introducing an innovative union of textures and eye-catching presentation.

To cite more of their specialties would be the Salmon Belly Carpaccio, Unagi Truffle Roll, and more–all of them exhibiting exquisite flavor, authenticity, and presentation.

However, to only speak of its dishes would be seeing only one side of a coin. Upon entering Keyaki, guests are welcomed in an atmosphere of elegance and luxury, the cityscape from its windows setting the scene for a glass of wine and intimate conversation.

Residing on the 90th floor of Pan Pacific Hotel, this restaurant is the highest Japanese dining space in Jakarta; high in height, tradition, and also in value.
