Indonesia’s leading creativity festival, IdeaFest 2025, returns this year with “(Cult)ivate the Culture” as its theme. The event was held for three days from October 31 to November 2, 2025, at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC) Senayan, featuring more than 150 talk show sessions and 500 speakers from various fields.
Over the course of three days, IdeaFest 2025 features a wide range of activities, from IdeaTalks, IdeaFest X, IdeaFest Night, Experiential Expo, to Creative & Food Market by Semasa. These activities are expected to help industry players explore new opportunities, innovate, and build collaborations.
The IdeaTalks session featured many renowned speakers, such as the 6th President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Rano Karno, Andi F. Noya, Ernest Prakasa, Helmi Yahya, and special guest speaker Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa.
One of the most popular sessions was “The Purpose of Leadership: Vision, Integrity, and Legacy in a Changing World,” presented by Dr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. The former president discussed leadership for the younger generation and collaboration in facing global change.
In addition to the main event, IDEA Fest also presented the Creative & Food Market by Semasa, which consists of more than 225 tenants, including Cook’s, Onde Mande, Papowi, Eight Tarts, and many more. Not to miss was the Sematcha Corner, which was joined by various matcha brands.
In its 14th year, IdeaFest brings the concept of how culture is formed, followed, and then changed by analyzing the similarities between sects and cultural movements. More than just a festival, IdeaFest 2025 is a place where ideas meet action, which is expected to result in collaboration for the future.
