Talents can sometimes go unnoticed, and this is especially true when there is a lack of inclusivity in society. In 2023, four individuals, Annisa, Dadi, Joan, and Nurul, founded Karya Seni Tuli after a WhatsApp group discussion about their concern for many talented Deaf artists who struggled to showcase their true potential.

While Karya Seni Tuli is founded and entirely run by Deaf individuals, it has also collaborated with the hearing community to raise awareness and promote the spirit of “Keep Creating” and “Creativity Without Limits” for all.

The recent “Sunyi Berbicara” exhibition held last May was a powerful moment that brought emerging talents to the forefront, showcasing the limitless potential of Deaf artists.

Karya Seni Tuli will continue to advance its mission through further collaborations, activities, festivals, and seminars in the near future. Find out more on @karyasenituli
