This November, Museum Macan is celebrating its 7th anniversary with a new visual identity inspired by the connectivity and dynamic nature of Nusantara. The new identity embodies the spirit of openness, diversity, and transformation, reinforcing Museum Macan’s role as a safe space for open dialogue and community engagement.
The visual identity draws inspiration from the connections between Indonesia’s islands, both by land and sea, creating pathways for diversity and open dialogue. This concept is translated into various logo versions, patterns, bold color palettes, and fun animations.
Venus Lau, the Director of Museum Macan, envisions the new identity as a catalyst for inclusivity, ensuring that audiences and communities visiting the Museum feel welcomed.
Since its establishment in 2017, Museum Macan has been at the forefront of showcasing both local and international artists on the global stage. With this new logo, the Museum continues to embrace its commitment to dynamic exploration and openness.
